Sunday was an awesome day. The weather was beautiful. We went to Mass and then came home and had breakfast out on the deck. Plus, Sunday was our 7th Wedding Anniversary!!! Happy Anniversary to us!!

Here are some pictures from around the house and garden. Enjoy….

This is a view of our garden and chicken coop from the deck. The patch of green in a circle in the foreground is Okra.

If bees could be guilty of gluttony this little guy would need to go to Confession. His pockets were full and I could not figure out how he could even fly. I read somewhere that they can carry up to 90% of their body weight. Amazing!

This is one of our baby chicks born (hatched) in early July. She is getting big. Her two sisters and brother are small enough to sneak through the fence so they are causing some problems around the garden.

Anthony helped me pick more corn for dinner last night (all out of the garden – corn, green beans, and tomatoes). He found this one in the mix. Most of the garden is silver queen but I threw some old Heirloom seed in as well and this was one of them. We have taken over 15 dozen ears so far!
