Here is an update on my mead making. I let the mead sit in the secondary fermenter for about 4 weeks and it clarified beautifully.


I had enough for 24 Grolsch bottles (see below) and six regular beer bottles. Of course there was a little left over that wasn’t worth bottling but only good for tasting. Wow, it was delicious.

I got these bottles from a local watering hole. They make a great presentation for the mead and a great Christmas gift when a nice red bow is added. Sorry all but now you know what you are getting from me for Christmas.
