I guess my being vague allowed for all sorts of answers. So, I put all the entries together and pulled out one name. That person also happened to get the answer correct. The answer – what is missing, and this was a major step for Catherine, is her oxygen cannula (the little tubes going into her nose). They had tried to place her on room air a couple times but after a few hours she’d have problems. This time they did it and she had no problems and hasn’t had it since. Congratulations to Barbara who wins a copy of Rosary Meditations for Real Life.

Nicole and I went to see Catherine early this morning. She was bright and awake which is always fun. I held her first for a while and then Nicole held her skin to skin until we left. We’ll actually until Grandma and Grandpa Hahn arrived.

Last night she pulled out the tube that goes to suction out her stomach. They took some pictures of her before they put the tube back in. She is so cute without all of the tubing!! The drainage from this tube has become lighter and lighter so we are hoping that they will begin trying to feed her again soon. That is what we are praying for!

Today was #1 son’s birthday and I’ll post pictures when I get a chance. Right now I’m busy getting ready for VBS (vacation bible school).
