I just talked to Catherine’s nurse, and I got her new weight for today, 3125 grams which is 6 # 14oz! Go Catherine go! She has been doing great nursing now that her feedings through the g-tube are going a bit faster, it gives her time to get hungry. She gets weighed before and after breastfeeding to give us an idea of how much she is taking. Today the scale said she took in as much as her whole feed is! And no spitting up. Unfortunately this is a long holiday weekend and I have not seen any doctors, but I am very anxious to see what they have to say about the progress she has been making this past week.
Thank you for your continued prayers for us and our family. Please also keep my parents and brother and sister-in-law in your prayers as well as everyone living in that area, as they weather Hurricane Gustav down in Louisiana. Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us.
