The fruit of that time was
1) being with Jesus for over 40 hours and
2) a little meditation book on the crucifix
In our adoration chapel there was a beautiful carved crucifix on the wall above and behind the monstrance. So, for those 40 + hours I meditated on the crucifix and talked about it to Jesus.
Each visit I would focus on different aspects of the crucifix. I would contemplate not only the wounds of Christ but every part I could imagine: His hands, knees, feet, the writing of Pilate and more. This little book is the fruit of that Lenten Meditation.
It was first published by a local printer and my wife and I spent evenings in the basement stapling the booklet together. Now on it’s 3rd printing, this beautifully bound meditation will stick with you for years to come. I guarantee you’ll never be able to look at the Crucifix in the same way again.
So, if you would like to be a lucky winner of one of five copies please send me an email. The first 5 people to email me will be rewarded for actually reading this blog post with their very own copy.
If you don’t win you can still get your own copy from Amazon here in either a paperback or Kindle format.
Here are some other great Lenten reading suggestions for this year!
