We set a live trap to capture the ground hog that has been destroying our garden. The beast ate all the bush beans, climbed some of the sunflower plants and ate all of the leaves. After all of this was done he turned his attention to our pole beans. This in itself was quite a feat. The pole beans are clinging to rebar two foot in the ground and 8 to 10 feet in the air. Sometime, we think at night, he climbed to the very top and ate all of the leaves and most of the beans. I would love to at least get a picture of him doing this if not a shot of hot lead.

Anyway, I saw something moving in the trap and discovered our friend Pepe Le Pew. This cute but stinky little critter would really like to get out but I am unsure as how to accomplish this without doing the obvious. If anyone has an ingenious way of releasing Pepe with out any harm coming to him (certain death) or his human friends (certain stink) we would both appreciate your input?!?!!!

“Ah, my little darling, it is love at first sight, is it not, no?”.
