It’s 9:30 AM on Monday morning. I check on Catherine last night at 1:00 AM and she was showing good signs. Nicole and I went this morning (thinking no phone calls in the middle of the night was a positive sign) and Catherine is holding steady. She is improving by teeny tiny bits but we’ll take what we can.
The nurses here are wonderful. We have had many who have worked with Catherine find us later in the cafe or lobby and tell us they checked on her even though they weren’t working on her team. One even said she called twice last night to check on her! What love for life abounds in this place!
